Where Did You Go?I was to write a want ad for a life less confusing than my own. It was to include a means of employment that was both rewarding and fulfilling. It was to include a companion that was both exciting and warm. It was to include a house in the country with a small holding, an alpaca, some sheep, some ducks and a cat. There were to be 2 small, blond, curly haired, angelic children running around neither of whom bore any resemblance to their mother.Where Did You Go?
There was to be the smell of baking coming from the eclectic kitchen and fresh coffee on the hob.

All the World's a StageCome one come allAll the World's a Stage
You are invited to gaze upon the broken pieces of a very promising life.
Where once rose courage and fortitude in the face of adversity, now you will see only the shattered remnants of cowardice and avarice Where once the splendour of achievement, now bear witness to the charred remains of disappointment and resentment Where once a pillar of hope and wonder stood proud and forthright, now rifle through the relics of wrecked promises and forgotten dreams
Ah she was a wonderful girl, so full of life. A little wanton, some have said but such a passion, such a divine wickedness,

I'm currently whittling away my remaining brain cells with menial jobs that require no use of my long lamented Psych degree and dreaming of something better where self fulfillment will not seem so elusive... I'm a hopelessly romantic, bitter and angry cynic who fluctuates wildly between tenderness and brutality, to the testament of those who love me and have to laugh at my acerbic charm and scratch their heads in bemusement at my lesser spotted softness... |
